Sorry  it has been a while since i updated the KMR blog, but we have been hard at work during the off season. Making progress with the Mazdatrix unlimited rear wheel drive Time Attack RX-8, as well as making improvements to the KMR Drift RX-8. Like any type of racing weight is very important. One of our projects has been a joint effort between Mazdatrix and AIT to produce a light weight carbon fiber roof for both racing applications as well as street and show applications. Below are a few teaser shots of the off season work in process.

I was surfing the web and i came across this great photo,It really shows the team in action. While your inside the car its a whole different world, you barley even notice the car go up or down. before you know it the tires are changed and im dropping the clutch to go line up back on the grid. I’m guessing this was shot at Irwindale duringone of the top 16 battles i was in, great action all night long! This is also is a great example of  of how the sport of drifting is really growing!
